Christmas Adventure and Service Dog Bella

<iframe width="420" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/hThDnhmIdbw" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

I enjoyed Christmas day very much, however the Saturday after was quite an adventure.  My friend and I decided to go on a road trip and venture into several store.  One of the places we visited had many different departments so we were able to explore seeking the different items we wanted to investigate and possibly purchase.  I was richly blessed with a gift card which I wanted to use to get a Christmas gift.  Recently I started making videos to share information and helpful tips so was interested in finding a video camera which would do a great job of producing quality video content.

Before shopping for this vidoe camera I did quite a bit of research to learn what different features video cameras have, the compatibility with operating systems, how well they would work in different conditions, what specifications were required for different computers, and all other information which would help me to choose the very best possible video camera to work with my computer and operating system as well as the types of videos I'd be making for the different websites.  I found out which video cameras I wouldn't want as well as the ones I wanted to investigate further.  The one store where I looked at video cameras had one which I was interested in, however the price was higher than I thought reasonable.  I decided to wait until I had the chance to look at the offerings of the other store we were planning to explore.

I had make the right choice because at the department store I found the video camera that fit the requirements I required and it was cheaper than the one priced more than $10 more at the other store.  It pays to research first the item and then to shop around to find the best possible price.  I know that things would have turned out worse if I had not researched video cameras and had purchased the first video camera I thought I wanted which would have been largely based on price rather than what it was capable of doing and how it would interface with my equipment.

The video camera I found is capable of plug and play, turning 360 degrees, can mount on lap top brother computer screens, or can mount onto a tripod, and can also work with windows os or apple os.  The Logitech c615 is reasonably priced, well built, and does a good job of creating video content.  I'm well pleased with this camera.

An extra bonus is that I found a very, very comfortable bed for my service dog Bella.  Her old bed is worn out and scruffy looking.  Being well worn and due for retirement I decided to see if I could find a bed which would be built well, was comfortable, and something that Bells would enjoy.  I was faced fortunately with several choices.  Price was a determining factor because I didn't want to spend a huge amount of money on a dog bed that would fall apart and yet I didn't want to spend a mega amount of money on a dog bed either even if it would last several years.  My future plans are to get the very best most rugged comfortable bed for Bella in the future when I've saved enough money to purchase it for her.  So, I need to get the best bed possible with the least amount of money.  One other consideration was the amount of room this bed would take up in the space where Bella sleeps.  I found the perfect bed for the requirements.  Double checked to be certain it was exactly what she would like by allowing her to try it out.  She hesitated to get into the bed, but with a little bit of encouragement and realizing I was serious about her laying down and resting, she gladly climbed into the bed, checked it out as she circled, and then lay down and went to sleep.  I didn't want to disturb her so waited a few minutes before asking her to get out of the bed.  She took a little while to get up and out, so I'm certain it was wonderfully comfortable for her. The video above is of Bella enjoying her Christmas present.

Making My First Video

I successfully made my first video which is an amazing accomplishment for me.  Because of several challenges, I struggled to make a video for my GoFundMe campaign.  Today I discovered after investing hours of searching around YouTube, trying over and over many times to figure out why the video "ask me" to allow access to my built in camera and microphone options wouldn't work, I finally decided to roam through the computer to see if I could find any thing which would help.  Even after searching for hours, I still didn't know why the connection permission situation between YouTube and my computer didn't work.  Frustrated and disappointed, I gave up for that day and decided to give it a rest for a while.

The next day I went through YouTube to make certain I hadn't missed anything.  Then, off into the depths of my computer again.  Visiting the same places didn't make things better and so because I needed to rest for a little while, I decided to return to this project later.  What was wrong with this situation that I wasn't able to figure out?  Following what I thought was a new path, I found myself back at the list of permissions again.

Because I am only able to see about an eighth of the computer screen at a time, I need to scroll constantly.  Finally I saw some arrow looking things at the right side of the list.I clicked on the arrow and discovered there are options for denying, something, and allowing.  I clicked allow, and was hoping that this would solve the problem.

When I returned to YouTube to try to make a video, I was thrilled to be able to use their features and my computer camera and microphone to practice recording my video for my GoFundMe campaign.Everything worked well.  The video didn't turn out the way I expected and so decided to wait until the next day to work on my video project.

The next day I discovered that YouTube was no longer supporting their video feature and so, had to figure out how to do a video in a different way.  Finally after hours and days of trial and error, I completed my video project.

THE CHALLENGES OF LIFE BECOME FRIENDS

Recently I have discovered that there is much unknown knowledge about life and how to understand, cope, and continue the journey with great success.  What is thought will affect how life is presented to you.  If for example you think and believe it is a wonderful day you will indeed enjoy a wonderful day.  It is the attitude as well as the perceived idea of what is happening which manifests it's self to you and  me.

I learned through experience that when I change how I thought about something I perceived happening in a certain way, there were changes.  These changes were dependent on my thoughts about them.  All I needed to do is decide if they were going to be positive or negative.  I had to get close to my feelings.  Close examination of how I felt gave me the information I needed for the appropriate changes needed.  Most of the time now, I focus on positive feelings, thoughts, and look for positive experiences.  Surprise!  I have created the pathway for positive experiences to be part of my life.  Fear, negativity, distrust, and other negative feelings bring a life most people including me, don't want.

It is also important to consider the effects of our feelings on our physical, emotional health, and psychological health.  I prefer to be as healthy as possible in a very, very good way.  So, I am dedicated step by step as I realize good results, to focusing on good things and letting go of the bad.  By bringing to myself as much good in thought, word, and deed, I am surrounding myself with plenty of goodness and good life experiences.  It is possible for everyone to change how their life is going for them.

When you or I have a problem with a response to something, then we should look at our feelings toward this event.  How do you or I feel about a certain something?  If it is a good feeling, then most likely it is something to continue.  However, if it is a feeling which is unpleasant or a small voice directs that we should change our mind about this feeling, it would be good to pay attention.

Paying attention to feelings is a good guid for the better way to make needed positive changes for a much better life.  we have free will and so it is possible to make different decisions from decisions of other people, yet fling good and free is for me something to strive for in life.

Life is what you and I make it no matter our situations.
